Sjanger-scene med unge ballettdansere ble utført i midten av 1970-årene av den kjente og velrenommerte ukrainske kunstneren Yurij Wladimirovich Severin (1927 Charkov - etter 1999 Kiew, Ukraina). Han var landskapsmaler, illustratør og grafikkkunstner, studerte ved Kunstskolen i Charkov (til 1949), i 1949-52 - ved Kunsthøyskole i Kiev under Bondarenko, Dajtz. Deretter arbeidet han i Kiev og var populær som illustratør av sovjetisk liv for det kjente humoristiske magasinet "Peretz" (Engelsk: Pepper).
Full biografi finner man i: "Lexicon of Ukrainian artists", Kiev, 1973.
Innskrift: signert kyrilliske bokstaver nederst til venstre.
Teknikk: oljemaleri på papp, innrammet
