Artist Information
Koji Kasatani (født 1964) er en japansk kunstner.
Etter å ha fullført kunstskolen i Firenze, Italia,
studerte jeg italienske keramikkteknikker.
Etter å ha vendt tilbake til Japan, begynte jeg å utfordre meg selv for å skape verk som gikk utover grensene for keramikk.
Da jeg fant bananske stumper, fars favoritt, på kjøkkenet, ble jeg overbevist om at dette var kunst, og siden da har jeg laget banan-tema verk i omtrent 18 år.
