Rare 18th-century Dutch devotional and poetic work by the renowned theologian and poet Jodocus van Lodenstein (1620–1677).
Twelfth edition, considerably enlarged ("Den Twaalfden Druk merkelijk verbeterd en met meerdere voyzen vermeerderd"), printed in Amsterdam by Joannes Kannewet in 1743.
Complete with the engraved allegorical frontispiece and the original folding half-title. Bound in its original full vellum binding with contemporary handwritten spine title.
