Lot of 7 bottles of Arack Zahre, a historic anise spirit brand highly regarded within the Lebanese community, often described as the "Lebanese-style pastis."\nArak is one of the oldest spirits in the world and is considered Lebanon's national spirit. It is a clear, dry brandy obtained by distilling fermented grapes with the addition of anise seeds. A distinctive feature of Arak is the "louche" effect: when mixed with water or ice, the spirit turns cloudy, taking on a characteristic milky appearance caused by anethole, the essential oil of anise, which is soluble in alcohol but not in water.\nThe bottles can be dated to the '90s.\nGood general conditions as visible in photos.\nNow kept in our cellar at controlled temperature and humidity.\nInternational insured shipment.
