Koji Kasatani (born 1964) is a Japanese artist.
Etter å ha fullført kunstskolen i Firenze, Italia, studerte jeg italienske keramikkteknikker.
Etter å ha kommet tilbake til Japan, begynte jeg å utfordre meg selv for å lage verk som gikk utover grensene for keramikk.
Da jeg fant noen bananrester, min fars favoritt, på kjøkkenet, var jeg overbevist om at dette var kunst, og siden den gang har jeg laget banan-tema verk i ca. 18 år.
