ABOUT THE ARTIST

Elena Paraskevas verk er inkludert i institusjonelle og selskapskolleksjoner, blant annet Public Art Department of Sweden (Västra Götaland Government), Boston Hospital, USA (hovedinstallasjon på 500 cm ved inngangen til Barnets Kreftavdeling), Australian National University, Thalassa Museum, Affinity (Serif), og andre institusjonelle og selskapskolleksjoner.

Hennes arbeid har blitt vist i EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT i Brussel, samt i store biennal- og gallerier i NYC, Paris, Tokyo, London, Dubai, Sao Paolo (Brasil), Vienna, Barcelona, Munich, Kuala Lumpur, Florence, Frankfurt, Málaga, Linz, Graz, Siena osv.
I 2026 valgte Magnum-fotografen Alec Soth, bredt ansett som en av de mest innflytelsesrike nålevende fotografene, personlig hennes arbeid for utstilling i Hellas under aegis av det greske Kulturdepartementet.

Hun har blitt kåret til International Photographer of the Year (2024 / 2023 / 2021 / 2018) av fire forskjellige internasjonale fotografiske selskaper.

Hun har mottatt internasjonal anerkjennelse og store priser fra Hasselblad Masters, World Masters of Photography, LensCulture, Aesthetica, Prix de la Photographie Paris, International Photography Awards (IPA), Neutral Density Awards og mange flere.

Siden 2021 har hun hatt oppdrag som jurymedlem for FLORIDA MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS og som dommer i flere internasjonale fotografikonkurranser hvert år. Hun er også tidligere Adobe-instruktør og ambassadør.
