Original silver Bulgarian Medal "For Merit", awarded during the reign of Tsar Boris III (1918–1943).
The obverse features the left-facing portrait of Tsar Boris III with the inscription "БОРИСЪ III ЦАРЪ НА БЪЛГАРИТѢ" ("Boris III, Tsar of the Bulgarians"). The reverse bears the inscription "ЗА ЗАСЛУГА" ("For Merit"), framed by an oak and laurel wreath, symbolizing honour and distinguished service.
This decoration was awarded in recognition of meritorious civil or military service and represents one of the classic decorations of the Kingdom of Bulgaria.
The medal is struck in solid silver and retains an attractive original patina, with well-preserved details and sharp relief. It is offered together with its ribbon, making it an excellent collector's example.
