Beskrivelse fra selgeren

Mission Development Comp. med facsimile-signatur Paul Getty, 1953

When J. Paul Getty died in 1976, he was the richest man in the world and Getty-Oil was the most expensive company in the world. After the takeover by Texaco in 1971, the Getty Oil Company became the Getty Petroleum Corporation, which leased around 1,100 petrol stations as full-service stations and large oil distribution centers to Getty Petroleum Marketing. This in turn is now a subsidiary of the Russian LUKOIL and sells fuel and car service at around 1,300 stations under the brand names Getty and Lukoil. Getty once started with the legendary Oklahoma Oil Company, founded Getty-Oil as well as Mission Development and was, along with John D. Rockefeller, probably the most colorful figure in the global billion-dollar oil business.

Mission Development was founded by Getty in 1947 as a holding company, primarily to increase its share in the oil company "Tide Water" (= Veedol). In 1967 it was incorporated into the Getty Oil Company, whose name is still emblazoned on numerous US gas stations today. A security of great significance for the industry and economic history. Dekorativt sikkerhetstrykk fra American Bank Note Company med en stor stålgravering som vignett. Eksempelbilde, tallene kan variere. Anbefalt rammestørrelse for bilde 30 x 40.
