This lot features one original five-card miniature sheet from the special “ONE PIECE CARD GAME mini FOR THE ‘Supernovas’” supplement included with the April 2023 issue of Saikyo Jump magazine in Japan.

The magazine was released by Shueisha on March 3, 2023.

Unlike standard ONE PIECE CARD GAME cards, these cards were specially produced in a miniature format as part of an introductory magazine supplement.

All five cards remain together on their original unseparated sheet.

This particular sheet is centred entirely around Monkey D. Luffy and contains miniature versions of three official ONE PIECE CARD GAME card designs.

These miniature cards reproduce familiar cards from the original red Straw Hat Crew Starter Deck in a special small-format presentation created for the Saikyo Jump supplement.

Background

Saikyo Jump’s April 2023 issue featured a special ONE PIECE CARD GAME introductory project designed for readers who were discovering the trading card game.

Among the magazine supplements was “ONE PIECE CARD GAME mini FOR THE ‘Supernovas’,” a collection of miniature-format cards featuring characters and cards from the ONE PIECE CARD GAME.

The mini-card lineup included major characters such as Monkey D. Luffy, Shanks, Roronoa Zoro, Sanji and other popular members and figures from the ONE PIECE universe.

This listing contains only the individual five-card Luffy sheet shown in the photographs.

It is not the complete magazine mini-card collection.

Special Miniature Format

These cards are intentionally smaller than ordinary ONE PIECE CARD GAME cards.

The unusual miniature format was produced specifically for the Saikyo Jump magazine supplement.

The reverse side of the sheet states that the miniature cards cannot be mixed with normal ONE PIECE CARD GAME cards for gameplay.

They are also not permitted for use in officially sanctioned or official ONE PIECE CARD GAME events.

For this reason, this item is primarily intended as an official Japanese magazine collectible rather than a standard tournament card product.
