The Minolta α-7700i (1988), sold as the Dynax/Maxxum 7000i abroad, headed Minolta's second-generation autofocus line and introduced the Creative Expansion Card system — swappable cards that reprogrammed the camera for particular subjects, an idea well ahead of its time.
