during the classical studies that the 60s imposed, thanks to the imaginative teachings of a history of art professor, I knew and fell in love with that colorful world of beauty to which I have remained faithful and fascinated for a lifetime. But only subsequently, finding by chance in my hands a creative magazine from the era, lived as a window into the artistic world, following their guidance, I began to create objects to admire, spanning from art, to fashion, to objects, in the perpetual search and attempt to express with art enthusiasm and joy as an anthem to life. The explosion of pleasure in creating, experimenting, pursuing with perseverance the maximum expression of beauty, drove me, despite family and work commitments and the difficulties that the 70s promised a woman, to attend the studies of well-known Sicilian art masters of the era, to learn as much technique and experience as possible, never losing that single weekly appointment that made me drive 70 km to reach him. And it is by letting myself be inspired and carried away by their excellence that I refine my views and perfect the technique, achieving my expressive splendor in Luminisa, stage name, of a life dedicated to the playful world of cheerfulness, freshness and brightness that is embodied in the extreme representation of games in water and bodies suspended in time in a playful preamble to joy. A sensibility that today I express in painting, sculpture and engravings, which have a very precise task, to translate into broad visions of play and into moments of meditation and ecstasy, a significant reality that has inhabited me always.. Strong, decisive tones, athletic gymnastics equipment, hoops in the water, promote the concept of my emotions, bearers of a playful, conspiratorial and artistic mood of my eternal serene mood..
