Carved rectangular grey-yellow Chinese Seal with reclining foo-dog and script -China- Qing period
On offer is a very fine good quality grey-yellow low-translucent Chinese artist stone Seal. It has a finely carved reclining foo-dog on top. The stone is, or resembles Shoushan stone. It has beautiful color shades in light-yellow and grey. The seal is nicely engraved with 12 characters on one side. The face of the seal is carved with several Chinese characters. Nice smooth surface by use. UV check shows that the stone is probably not artificially colored. The color seems to be natural. Provenance: Closed private collection.
