Vova Titov is an Estonian born artist with a degree in interior design from the prestigious Herzen University in St. Petersburg. His paintings, sculptures and drawings are all one of a kind, hand-crafted and have been sold internationally, with some making their way into the homes of Hollywood directors. His art is represented by the Saatchi Gallery, with regular auctions on Catawiki.
"Skull" Two large oval "eyes," with a dark pupil and a gray-blue iris, stare out from the canvas like fragments of bone structure, brought together by a cubist grid of lines to resemble a skull or mask. Sharp triangular edges act as brow ridges and cheekbones, while a dense black contour line, more typical of stained-glass graphics, lends the composition an almost X-ray clarity. The work is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
