In September Haze, abstract botanical forms appear through a pale, atmospheric field of off-white and muted grey. The flowers are loosely defined, their fragmented structures contrasting with long, softened stems that seem to dissolve into the background.

Layers of acrylic have been worked, partially obscured and pulled across the surface, giving the painting a weathered, almost mist-like quality. The restrained palette creates a calm contemporary presence, while the irregular floral forms keep the composition expressive and organic.

Painted in acrylic on cotton canvas. The work will be shipped rolled in a sturdy protective tube.

About the Artist
MiLo is a Dutch contemporary artist whose work has found its way into private collections throughout Europe and beyond, including the United States, Taiwan and Hong Kong. His paintings combine abstraction, graphic elements and an intuitive approach to texture and composition. Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, MiLo creates distinctive one-of-a-kind works characterised by layered surfaces, strong forms and a contemporary visual language.
