The JVC A-X2 is a classic Japanese stereo integrated amplifier from JVC’s early-1980s Hi-Fi range. Introduced around 1980, it features JVC’s innovative Super-A amplifier technology, designed to combine the low crossover distortion associated with Class-A operation with the efficiency of a conventional amplifier design. Delivering 40 watts per channel into 8 ohms, the A-X2 provides plenty of power for a wide variety of vintage bookshelf and floorstanding speakers. Its impressive 10 Hz–100 kHz frequency response, low 0.007% THD and damping factor of 50 demonstrate the technical ambitions of JVC’s Super-A design.

To deliver this product properly, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, thereby wrapped in bubble wrap with lots of padding.
