This lens was cleaned in September 2026.
Please note that, as this is an older lens, some mold, fogging, or dirt may still be present.
Please consider it to have been cleaned to a level that does not affect its functionality.

I cleaned the inside of the lens, but it still has the characteristic thorium-yellow discoloration typical of this lens.

[Key Specifications]
This is the Super-Multi-Coated TAKUMAR 35mm F2, a legendary lens from Asahi Pentax.
This M42-mount 35mm F2 model was produced around 1971–1975 and serves as the successor to the Super-Takumar 35mm F2. It features a compact design with a 7-element, 8-group optical system, a 6-blade aperture, and a 49mm filter diameter, weighing approximately 240g.
Combining the versatile 35mm wide-angle focal length with an f/2 maximum aperture, it is suitable for a wide range of applications, including street photography, snapshots, landscapes, travel, and everyday shooting. The high contrast and backlight resistance provided by the Super-Multi-Coating are also key attractions of this lens.
The interior of the lens was cleaned in September 2026. A lens hood is also included.
As a classic M42-mount lens, it is ideal not only for vintage Pentax users but also for those who want to enjoy it on mirrorless cameras using an adapter.
