ABOUT THE WORK
Beyond the Quiet explores the feeling of finding stillness within an ever-changing landscape.
Layers of atmospheric blue, charcoal and softened light move across the canvas, suggesting distant horizons, open water and the fleeting reflections found along a coastline.
Rather than depicting a specific place, the painting captures a feeling — that moment when the world becomes quieter and there is space simply to be present.
Part of Luca Domiro's Nature Reimagined collection, the work draws inspiration from coastlines, changing light and the emotional connection we form with the natural world.
THE ARTIST
LUCA DOMIRO
United Kingdom | b. 1979
South African-born with Italian heritage, Luca Domiro is a contemporary artist whose work explores memory, renewal, movement and emotional connection through expressive abstraction and nature-inspired compositions.
Influenced by landscapes, coastlines and atmospheric moments experienced through travel, his paintings combine layered colour, texture and intuitive mark-making to create a sense of place without becoming literal representations.
Domiro's work is held by collectors across the United Kingdom, Europe, United States and Canada.
