Beskrivelse fra selgeren
Omega Mechanical Vintage Stainless Steel Men’s Watch – Rare Ref. 2750-9 – 1954 – Exceptionally Beautiful Condition – With Period-Correct Original Omega Box
Omega mechanical vintage stainless steel men’s watch, one of the less commonly encountered variants of the 2750 reference series, Ref. 2750-9, dating from 1954, in exceptionally beautiful, original and unrestored condition, complete with a period-correct original Omega box.
The Omega 2750 reference series was produced in several different sub-references, of which the 2750-9 is one of the rarer variants. The Omega cal. 266 housed in this watch belongs to the brand’s legendary family of 30 mm mechanical movements, developed from Omega’s renowned 30T2 construction.
Its mechanical, manually wound movement works perfectly and runs accurately, with a timekeeping accuracy of within 1 minute per day.
Beautiful, spotless, factory-original and unrestored off-white dial with applied silver-tone hour markers, an applied Arabic numeral at 12 o’clock, applied Omega emblem and original factory hands, with a small seconds hand at 6 o’clock. The hands show oxidation.
Original, factory-fitted, signed, never replaced and scratch-free crystal.
Factory-original, signed and wear-free crown.
Undamaged, unpolished stainless steel case retaining its original factory edges, with only minor superficial hairline scratches from normal use. The original shape and edges of the case are perfectly preserved.
Scratch-free, signed and unpolished stainless steel case back, practically without any significant signs of use. The inside of the case back bears the original OMEGA WATCH CO – FAB. SUISSE – SWISS MADE – ACIER INOXYDABLE markings, as well as the 2750-9 reference number.
Every part of the watch is factory-original, unrestored and unrefinished, as well as correctly signed. The case, cal. 266 movement, 14-million-range movement serial number and 2750-9 reference are period-correct and fully consistent with one another, forming a configuration entirely consistent with the 1954 production year.
