Materials used:
Cotton artfix canvas 440g manufactured in France.
Extrafine and flexible acrylic paints.
Information about the artist:
Originating from Southern Finistère, Frédéric CADIOU (he signs his canvases with the knife “ Fred ”) draws inspiration from Breton landscapes, deeply rooted in light and horizon.
His works capture suspended moments where nature dialogues with human perception.
Projected shadows, slender lines, minimalist compositions: each painting reveals a subtle tension between depth and minimalism.
Through a controlled palette and pronounced contrasts, the artist creates calm, almost meditative atmospheres.
The gaze is guided toward the horizon, between silence, space and contemplation.
A painting where light structures the landscape and where shadow becomes language.
Akoun appraisal (July 2026): €1,350 for format 15P (65 × 50 cm).
