Beskrivelse fra selgeren
ACRYLIC AND FOOD PACKAGING COLLAGE ON UNSTRETCHED CANVAS
Painted area once stretched: 90 x 90 cm. Total canvas size: approx. 106 x 106 cm, including the margins needed to stretch it. Unique work, shipped rolled in a rigid tube. Stretcher bars are not included.
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This Dr Drip piece draws on Damien Hirst's spot paintings and Yayoi Kusama's obsessive dots. A carefully planned grid of coloured spots meets spontaneous splashes: order against accident, control against gravity. The tension between the two keeps the surface moving. Circles cut from food packaging, emptied by Dr Drip in the studio, sit among the spots. They add a touch of fun and keep a memory of the days the work was made.

CONDITION
The work is in excellent condition and has been carefully stored. Small accidental drips or irregularities are inherent to the process and are considered part of the artwork.
SHIPPING & PACKAGING
The canvas is wrapped in protective paper and shipped rolled in a rigid tube. It includes a letter with stretching and framing instructions and a certificate of authenticity signed and stamped by Dr Drip.
Each package is prepared by hand with high-quality materials, and every shipment is fully insured. The shipping cost covers the courier, the insurance, the packing materials and the time spent packing, so it may be slightly higher than average. This way your bid goes to the artwork only.
