Table clock/mantel clock, design from the 1950s and 1960s Haid, Germany.
A very special and stylish table clock.
Eight-day mechanical movement with striking mechanism Strikes on full and half hours on 3 gong rods (very easy to turn off by means of a bracket).
This clock is in a completely original condition and runs perfectly on time. The cabinet has minor signs of age, associated crackle in the varnish. This is deliberately not treated, it namely gives a beautiful patina.
With a "flamed" type of wood to the front, combined with brass details (glass edge, hands, and the characteristic feet,)
The lot is a feast for the eyes.
