Cadillac Coupé Deville in sublime condition. This classic was delivered in 1958 and is the most sought after model with its double headlights, grilles in the front fenders, the big fins, the 5 trims at the rear wheels and lots of chrome. Fully reconstructed (body-off) and no expense or effort was spared. The body was completely stripped and then sprayed with various base layers. Resprayed with premium paint in the colour Tahitian Coral and the roof in Alpine White. The bottom and inner panels were completely stripped bare and then resprayed. After that, the paint was completely polished. The spraying costs alone (verifiable by invoices) amounted to €11000! The interior is also in mint condition with red and black upholstery. Again a lot of beautiful chrome present here. A car couldn’t be more Rock ‘n Roll! The matching 6 litre V8 engine was completely revised. Truly everything was renewed. Cylinders honed, new pistons, crankshaft polished, new camshaft, new hardened valve seats and valves, timing chain, gears, all bearings, seals, gaskets, etcetera. All ball joints and steering joints have been renewed, new shock absorbers mounted, new brake hoses and handbrake cable mounted. The Cadillac has power windows, power seats, power steering, power antenna, an expensive new Impco gas system for optimal torque, a completely new wiring harness, expensive (real!) Coker whitewall tyres, stainless steel silencers, a central locking system and a GPS trace system. It has driven 3,000 km since the total restoration and drives on a new LPG system. Possibly eligible for very affordable driving with classic car insurance (in the Netherlands). Exempt from Dutch road tax and no requirement for periodic vehicle inspections. The original tank, carburetor and cover are included as well as insightful documentation. This car is one of the most valuable and best maintained Cadillacs from the 50s and it drives wonderful!
