The Renault 16 TS was introduced in March of 1968 with a sportier look and a more modern, larger engine with 1565cc and 85HP. This car is still very special, it still has the dashboard which is still symmetrical and it still has odometer and rev counter directly opposite the steering wheel. The car has the original colour Braun Maron metallic, a very uncommon colour at the time.The car was originally sold in the Netherlands in 1969, so it concerns the transitional year with all of the real original details from that period. This car has been in the same family from 1977 to 2019. Around 2001, the car underwent a minor restoration: the car was repainted in the original colour and fitted with the optional alloy Dunlop wheels and a chrome spoiler that came from a later model (the TX). Back then the car also received green tinted glass, which was available later on the TX as well. In our possession since 2019, now neat and well-running again after 4 years in storage.
