This is an original constellation poster produced by a Belgian astronomical organization! This poster contains detailed records of the designer, compilers, etc. Currently, posters containing this information are no longer available. The VVS constellation map shows the northern sky and part of the southern sky up to declination -40°. The map therefore shows the part of the starry sky that is visible in our region (51° north latitude). The north celestial pole is in the center of the map. This does not correspond to the zenith (the place in the sky above you) but it does correspond to the area around Polaris, the north star. It is located due north, at a latitude of about 51° above the horizon.
