The heart of this project is formed by the famous winemakers Rene Barbier and Sara Perez - Clos Mogador, Clos Martinet and Orbita Venus with the Dido wines. The rest of the troop is made up of friends of the couple, including Ester Nin - Bodega Ester Nin. Eight Friends ("Vinya del Vuit" in Catalan) decided to produce a wine every year from a centenary carignan plot located in the surroundings of the town of Gratallops. Every partner receives 12 bottles each year for themselves. The remainder is sold, mainly in Premier throughout the world.
Ecological winemaking. Philosophy of minimal intervention. 100 grams of grapes per plant, which means that between 8 and 10 strains are needed for each bottle of wine. Aged for 16 to 18 months in 300 litre barrels, but that ends up tuning in cement and ladyjuana before aging in the winery in bottle for 5 years.
- Específic No.1 2014 (2 bottles): This is one of the rarest wines from Priorat wine region. Only 300 bottles produced. Específic No.1 is a project to recover extremely old carignan vines from Priorat. 100% carignan. Aged for 18 months in cask.
