Omega - Seamaster - 2903-11 14389 Vintage - Unisex - 1960

Omega Seamaster steel vintage wristwatch, circa 1961 Brown Suede Strap A stainless steel manually wound wristwatch with cross-hair subsidiary seconds A great looking version of the model, this watch has a silk-matt, silvered dial with tapered indexes at the quarters and slim baton markers at the intervening hours. The dial retains a great lustre and there is a very light and warm patina to the surface which enhances the watch’s vintage look. Unusually, the dial of this watch does not have luminescent accents and the hands are correspondingly without luminescent panels. The stainless steel case is relatively large for the period of production with a diameter of 35.5mm. There is attractive chamfered detailing to the edges of the lugs and the screw-down case back is centred with the Seamaster logo. We have not had the case polished during servicing in order to maintain the detailing of the facets and chamfers and there are therefore some light scuffs and scratches to the case. Technical details [M] Omega calibre 269 manually wound movement, lever escapement, 17 jewels, mono-metallic balance, 18,000 BPH, Kif shock absorber [D] silk-matt silvered dial, raised and faceted tapered indexes at 12, 3 and 9 o’clock, baton markers at the intervening hours, cross-hair subsidiary seconds, black outer minute track [C] stainless steel circular case, chamfered bezel, angled lugs with chamfered edges, Omega winding crown, screw-down case back with raised Omega Seamaster logo [S] case, dial, movement and crown signed Measurements Diameter excluding winding crown: 35.5mm Length including lugs: 44mm Depth to centre of crystal: 10.5mm Strap width/lug gauge: 18mm Total watch weight: 42g
