A stunning vintage Japanese calligraphy set, beautifully preserved despite being left in the countryside for some time. This unique set features a finely carved bamboo-patterned wooden box that opens to reveal essential calligraphy tools: an inkstone, ink, and three brushes, each with their own individual character and charm.

Set Includes:
Inkstone: An authentic inkstone with slight wear, featuring the owner's name inscribed on the back. This inkstone has served its purpose well over the years and is ready for use or display.
Ink: The set comes with traditional Japanese ink, still in its original packaging, ideal for calligraphy and inkwell refills.
Brushes: Three brushes of varying sizes, each with distinct markings, indicative of their craftsmanship. These brushes have been well cared for and show the elegance of fine calligraphy tools.
Bamboo Carved Box: The set is housed in an exquisite wooden box with an intricate bamboo carving design, a perfect blend of function and beauty. The box measures approximately 28cm long and 16.5cm wide. Please note, there are some chipped areas on the box due to age.

Condition:
This vintage calligraphy set shows some signs of wear consistent with age. The inkstone has a few scuffs and chips, but they do not detract from its functionality or aesthetic value. The bamboo-carved box also has some minor imperfections. The ink and brushes remain in good condition.
