Seeking the Second Day: un viaggio tra arte, anima e trasformazione Mi chiamo Vincenzo Esposito, ma nel mio percorso artistico sono conosciuto come Vincent Montecristo. Sono un esploratore dell’esistenza, un passeggiatore curioso che indaga luoghi e culture alla ricerca della bellezza in tutte le sue forme. La mia passione prende forma nell’arte, nel collezionismo e nella mitologia: una ricerca dedicata a oggetti unici, portatori di storie e identità. Con il tempo, questa vocazione si è trasformata in un progetto imprenditoriale e culturale: The Dancing Faun, un’officina delle Belle Arti dove la memoria dell’antico dialoga con la sensibilità del presente. Attualmente sto intraprendendo un viaggio unico intitolato "Seeking the Second Day", ispirato alla celebre frase di Mark Twain: "I due giorni più importanti della vita sono quello in cui sei nato e quello in cui capisci perché". Al centro di questo progetto vi è una scultura che ho creato: Il Bacio della Medusa, una trasmutazione del mito, simbolo di trasformazione e guarigione, ispirata alla psicologia alchemica del filosofo James Hillman. L’idea è che l’anima possa riscrivere la propria vicenda, trasformando il dolore in bellezza attraverso una narrazione nuova. Il mio progetto consiste nel donare 21 sculture nei luoghi del mondo segnati da conflitti, portando un messaggio di rinascita e dialogo. Questa iniziativa rappresenta il mio modo di narrare una storia che possa curare l’anima. Per realizzare questa missione, mi finanzio attraverso la vendita di opere d'arte e oggetti unici presenti nel mio catalogo, oltre a cercare donazioni da chi condivide la mia visione. Ogni creazione venduta non solo sostiene il viaggio, ma contribuisce anche a una causa più grande. Condividerò ogni tappa di questo cammino sui social media, raccontando esperienze, persone incontrate e riflessioni maturate lungo il percorso. Invito tutti gli amanti delle storie, dell'arte e i collezionisti a scoprire il mio catalogo e a supportare questo progetto. Ogni illustrazione, scultura o oggetto acquistato rappresenterà un investimento in un mondo in cui l'arte cura le ferite e racconta nuove storie. Storie che curano l’anima. Seeking the Second Day: a Journey Through Art, Soul, and Transformation My name is Vincenzo Esposito, though in my artistic journey I am known as Vincent Montecristo. I am an explorer of existence — a curious wanderer who crosses places and cultures in search of beauty in all its forms. My passion takes shape through art, collecting, and mythology: a quest dedicated to unique objects, bearers of stories and identity. Over time, this vocation has evolved into an entrepreneurial and cultural project: The Dancing Faun, a workshop of Fine Arts where the memory of the ancient world converses with the sensitivity of the present. I am currently undertaking a unique journey titled “Seeking the Second Day,” inspired by Mark Twain’s celebrated words: “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” At the heart of this project is a sculpture I created: The Medusa’s Kiss, a transmutation of myth, a symbol of transformation and healing, inspired by the alchemical psychology of James Hillman. The idea is that the soul can rewrite its own story, transforming pain into beauty through a renewed narrative. My project consists of donating 21 sculptures to places around the world marked by conflict, bringing with them a message of rebirth and dialogue. This initiative is my way of telling a story capable of healing the soul. To realize this mission, I fund myself through the sale of artworks and unique objects from my catalogue, as well as through donations from those who share my vision. Every creation sold not only supports the journey but also contributes to a greater cause. I will share every step of this path on social media, recounting experiences, encounters, and reflections gathered along the way.
