“Touch of Gold” by Michał Lenartowicz is a dynamic abstract work in which color contrast and layered materiality create intense visual and emotional tension.
The painting is built around deep, saturated blues and cobalts, punctuated by golden–ochre accents and black. Gold does not dominate the surface; instead, it appears fragmentarily—like traces of energy or light emerging from the cool, dense structure of the background. This chromatic contrast gives the composition pulse and rhythm, guiding the viewer’s eye across the wide, horizontal plane.
Distinctive features include multiple layers of paint, vertical drips, palette-knife marks, and areas of abrasion, all of which emphasize the process-driven nature of the work. For us, painting is an expression of ourselves. We have been painting for over 25 years. We mainly deal with modern and abstract painting. For years, we have had great fondness for the color of gold and we use it most often in our paintings. In addition to golden paintings, you can also admire our multicolored abstractions, they add a lot of positive energy to a modern interior. To date, we have sold over 1800 paintings on Catawiki to collectors throughout Europe, the USA and Asia. For which we would like to thank everyone :)
