Opis od sprzedawcy

Between Gestures of Silence (75x110cm)
The figure shown in profile remains suspended between movement and stillness, decision and duration. The painting employs a reduced visual language and a carefully balanced composition in which color becomes the primary carrier of meaning.
The juxtaposition of cool blues with an intense red creates tension between calm and latent energy. The space is stripped of explicit narrative and resembles a stage where objects function as signs rather than utilitarian forms.
The artist constructs the image as a field of contemplation in which the identity of the figure remains open, and meaning emerges through the relationship between the artwork and the viewer. This is a painting of silence, presence, and inward focus.

The artwork functions effectively within a gallery context as well as in minimalist interiors, maintaining strong visual autonomy. It is a unique, original painting by the artist.

The artwork is varnished, ensuring colour depth and surface protection. The painting is signed by the artist in the lower right corner. The edges of the canvas are painted, allowing the artwork to be displayed without framing. A certificate of authenticity signed by the artist is included with the artwork. Painting on canvas, stretched on a wooden frame (unframed). Shipped stretched - not rolled. Carefully packed and shipped in a rigid cardboard box designed for artwork transport.

About the Artist:

Małgorzata Oleszkiewicz is a visual artist holding Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Fine Arts and Design, working across painting, collage, photography, and spatial projects. Her practice explores the relationship between the human figure and architectural space, operating at the intersection of figuration and abstraction. Her works are characterised by restrained compositions, geometric structures, and subtle tensions between colour, space, and presence.

Oleszkiewicz’s artistic research focuses on the figure as a carrier of psychological states within constructed or fragmented environments. Rather than narrative depiction, her paintings investigate perception, distance, and the quiet dynamics between bodies and space.
