Biblia Sacra (Biblí Swatá) - 1745

Antique Czech Bible titled “Biblia Sacra – Biblí Svatá aneb Wšecka Svatá Pisma Starého i Nového Zákona”.
Printed in 1745 (Léta Páně MDCCXLV) and published by Samuel Trautmann in Brieg (Brzeg). The book contains the Old and New Testament in the Czech language.
The volume retains its original period binding with wooden boards covered in leather, complete with brass clasps and corner pieces. The book includes engraved illustrations and decorative typographic elements typical of early 18th-century religious printing.
Condition consistent with age: visible wear to the binding, stains and signs of use on some pages, as shown in the photos. The binding and metal clasps are still present, giving the book a strong historical appearance.
A rare and attractive example of an early 18th-century Czech Bible with original binding.
