Cukiernica - Srebro pr. 800

A finely made solid silver sugar bowl with cut crystal liner, measuring circa 15,3cm in height and weighing a gross 185g, net silver weight 131g. The scrolling foliate handles and casing bearing a hinged lid with artichoke finial and standing on a square base on four scroll feet.

Stamped with Belgian Janus head mark for .800 silver, used from 1831-1868 and maker´s mark W in oval reserve within rectangle, not identified. Estimated age: 1830s-40s.

Condition: Very good, no significant damages or repairs. Minimal wear.
