Antoni Prats Calbet (Ibiza, 1927) is an Ibizan painter, sportsman and writer. He studied primary school at Sa Graduada and high school at the Dalt Vila Institute of High School. He is dedicated to family business, and his concern leads him to the creation of the Red Cross of the Sea and educational activities at the sailing school.

Promotes with parents with disabled children the creation of the Association of Parents of Disabled Children and Adolescents in Ibiza and Formentera, the first association whose initial purpose is the schooling of children with special needs, who at that time had no option to the Pitiusas. In 1974, after renting in the Cas Serres neighbourhood and installing the first special education classrooms in Ibiza, he approached Queen Sofía of Spain, a contact who gave the necessary push for the construction of the Can Cifre Centre.

He promotes, together with other institutions, the creation of the Board for the Protection of Mental Health and Social Welfare of Ibiza and Formentera. From the beginning he was the president of the Mental Health Commission. He promoted the creation of Occupational Workshops, dedicated to offering therapy and other activities to disabled youth and adults. Concerned about the conservation of Ibizan traditions, his knowledge has been gathered with the book La pesca de antes en las Pitiusas, published in 1997 by the Ministry of Culture of the Insular Council of Ibiza and Formentera.

The sea is also present, among other themes, in his artistic activity: painting. Trained in the teachings of Narcís Puget Viñas or the still life painter Vicente Rincón, his artistic development is largely self-taught. The Insular Council of Ibiza and Formentera in 2004, awarded him the Medal for Social Work. He received the Silver Medal from the Red Cross in 1976 to support the creation of the Red Cross of the Sea. In 2006 he received the Ramon Llull Award.
