Il quadro è molto bello, e il pacco è stato confezionato con cura perché non si rovinasse il quadro. C’è un però, la cornice è tutta tarlata e ci vorrà un restauro, i danni li ho visti ma i tarli no!

Sad to hear you’re not really satisfied with the painting you bought for 60€. You can assert your right of withdrawal and cancel the purchase and I’m perfectly ok with that. If you want to proceed with this you need to contact Catawiki. 
The richly decorated frame is about a hundred years old and I described it as “damaged” but maybe I could have been more precise. When I now check and zoom the photographs I can in fact state that the wood of the frame is partly worm-holed. 


The paintings are wonderful and were packaged very carefully. They arrived quickly as well. The seller was reliable and excellent.
