I myself am a collector and I purchased this coin in a lot with other coins. 
Indeed, the Nabatean Kingdom was very wealthy and important trade center from around 300 bc up to 106 ac (when it was annexed by the romans and renamed as Arabia Petraea. Of course they continued around now as a vasal roman province. 363 ac an earthquake ravaged their capital city Petra (ruins nowadays in Jordan) and from there onwards the city declined and was finally abandoned. 
I myself am an avid collector of the area as it involves Phoenicians, Judaea, Arabs, Greeks, Egypcians and Romans. A region with very rich History and Facinating coinage from aprox 450 BC up to nowadays!
