Alessandro Criscito (b. 1984) is a visual artist and designer based in Italy. Trained in architecture, his work explores the intersection between art, design and contemporary life. In 2016, he gained international recognition with a series of functional sculptures that were widely published by specialized media in Europe, the United States and Asia, including Design Milk (USA), ArchDaily (Mexico), Yanko Design (Japan), TrendHunter (Canada), Experimenta (Spain) and La Revue du Design (France). Between 2015 and 2018, he participated in several exhibitions and design fairs. Since 2025, Criscito has focused his artistic practice on abstract acrylic painting, developing coherent series that reflect on movement, pause and the perception of time in modern life.
