"The idea was embodied by the work of Carlo Abarth who had created a prototype on a “A112” base, specifically designed for racing, on the occasion of the "1970 sports car motor show". The car delivered 107 HP and reached a top speed of over 180 km/h, getting the unanimous consent of the press. The prototype, which was Carlo Abarth’s last autonomous creation, had to convince FIAT to provide the mechanical bases to manufacture, in small series, cars for private pilots, thus boosting the glorious brand of the scorpion.” This model in particular looks very well maintained and carer for in all its features.
