Plaster mission money box, ‘nodding figure’ - France 1950s
Beautiful French mission money box shaped like an altar boy, from the 1950s. These money boxes used to be placed in shops to collect money for the church. When you insert money in the box, the head of altar boy nods ‘yes’. The money box is made of plaster and is still in very good condition (minor traces of age).
Noteworthy are the very nice colours of the money box, so that it would be noticed well in the shop.
Dimensions: 31 cm high, 10.5 cm wide and 13 cm deep.
Will be packaged with care and sent by registered mail.
