The Edox Hydro Sub Quartz is a spectacular diver's watch. First, the technical aspects. Under the hood there is an Edox Cal. 53, which is based on the reliable Swiss made Ronda 515 quartz movement. The watch has a nice strap with extension (you can extend the strap at the clasp a little without taking the watch off), sapphire glass and is water-resistant up to 500 metres. Next to the crown there is a green 'slide' marked 'MASTER LOCK'. This is a special system from Edox to protect the crown from external influences. The crown can be used by sliding the lock upwards.
