1959 - Lancia Appia 3rd series - ASI Targa Oro. This Lancia is in the original factory colours, classic Lancia Blue with light fabric interior. It has an older restoration, and it was approved at ASI with Targa Oro number 7090 and certificate (as shown in photos). History is known from day one, and a complete report of owners is available. Over the years, it was maintained in good efficiency and driving condition, the carburettor was recently serviced, new spark plugs were installed and a general tuning performed. Vehicle periodic inspection valid until September 2020. Thanks to its ASI approval (FIVA representative in Italy) the car participated in some international events and historic races, including 2008 ASI AUTOSHOW in Sardinia, of which the ‘lead seal’ is on the steering wheel and the emblem (as shown in photos). Bodywork has signs of age, but it is still sound and usable, it has a nice old patina. Doors and bonnets opening/closing mechanisms are working properly. It was tested with feeler gauge and there are no traces of accidents. Gearbox at the steering wheel and brakes are responsive, so that driving this car is a pleasant experience. It was always kept in Tuscany, sold new in Lucca and then Florence. It has registration certificate (with pages), user’s and maintenance manual, two keys, it is equipped with radio on the dashboard and ‘Voxson’ radio on the rear-view mirror (very rare, as shown in photos). This Appia is a good base and ready to use, for improvement over time if preferred. Thanks to its year of manufacturing (1959), it is approved for many competitions reserved for pre-1960 cars.
