A fine pair of early 20th century American sterling silver candlesticks, each measuring 10cm in height and together weighing a gross 553g (feet filled). Stamped to the underside with manufacturer´s mark of Frank M. Whiting, Sterling silver and serial number 3405. Records indicate this design is from 1890, however the W in circle flanked by leaves logo is thought to have originated in 1896, so we are dating these cautiously as early 20th century Condition: Small damages to the top of one candle cup, see pictures, minor wear commensurate with age and use.
