With an appendic on canine medicine and surgery by Gordon Stables. 28 cm × 23cm 664 pages 28 beautifully painted lithograph colour plates. All in very good condition. Lithographs are tissue guarded. Three have damaged tissue guards. Myriad full page and in text woodcut illustrations. Full of detailed and interesting information about dog breeds. Binding tight with no splitting. All pages fixed. Some small rubbing to cover and back board. Please see pics. The book is in very good order for its age. Foxing is very minimal and none on colour illustrations. On inside cover two labels titled College of Agriculture Downton, Salisbury, given as an award to a agricultural student, P H Rawson. It is a large very heavy book.
