One will find the classic peaty character of Laphroaig, however, due to many years of maturation, the beverage is far less predatory and harsh. Smoky and peaty accents are pleasantly hidden, leaving subtle notes of sea breeze and vanilla in the aroma. The taste is full of peat, vanilla sweetness, spice and salt. The finish is long, dry and warming, with a slowly fading aftertaste of peat smoke. The bottle is packaged in a wooden box.
