A Sterling Silver very pretty pair of large table candlesticks, in a neoclassical Adams style, having oval bodies with tapering columns and hand-chased inverted flute decoration, with green velvet underneath the base, and removable nozzles. Made in Birmingham, 1961 Made by William Walter Antiques Ltd (Based at the Chancery Lane, London WC2) Fully English hallmarked sterling silver The dimensions of these fine pair of hand-made silver candlesticks are: Length 25.5 cm Diameter base 13.3 x 9.5 cm Approx. 516 + 505 = 1021 grams (weighted for stability) (Scones weight 68 grams together). Condition: Good condition. One candlestick has a small lean. Some scratching on the top of the scones and on the bases.
