Goldscheider clock designed by Adolphe Jean Laverge (1863-1928). The scene depicts a girl by a garden portal, with plants climbing up the building, left and right. There is a amber coloured glass panel, which perhaps was originally lit. A small wind-up clock at the top. Lovely gold clock hands. There was originally a back plate of some kind. The girl is missing a finger. Though not noticeable on the outside, the inside shows traces of old repair. Goldscheider clocks are not common.
