KDF brand predates Volkswagen.
The KDF project was born in 1937 on the initiative of F. Porsche with the support of party leaders, with the aim of spreading the small car intended to increase civilian motorization. In 1939, the KDF-Wagen (Kraft Durch Freude Wagen) was presented at the Berlin Salon, popularly known as the 'Beetle'.
Excellent condition, as in the photograph.
Old Volkswagen enamel sign
The enamel sign is in a condition appropriate for its age.
There are chips in the enamel on the hangers and some rust as well.
