Cem Reis wines are presented with a 100% Syrah red and a 100% Viognier white. The Syrah is produced from the selection of the best Syrah lots of that year, thus composing a final blend that aged for 16 months in French oak barrels (50%) and American oak barrels (50%). Dark violet in color, it presents intense notes of black fruit. A round wine, with a firm and persistent structure. The Viognier, with grapes produced on family land in Montemor-o-Novo, results from a careful selection of the same, 9 months of aging in new French oak barrels with 30 days of intense batonnage and 8 months of rest. A very balanced, elegant yet structured wine, with strong citrus notes while being unctuous and round on the palate.
