A magnificent Hungarian work of art, created by sculptor Margit Endrő in the early 20th century. Figurative sculpture of a nude woman Glazed ceramic. Marked: Endrő M. (Kegye, November 23, 1899 – Karcag, June 8, 1986) He began his studies as a painter in Vienna with Ella Maxel, then continued at István Dési Huber's private school in Budapest. He obtained a pottery master's certificate in Karcag. He created figurative objects, vases, and glazed decorative items. In the 1920s and 1930s, he participated in numerous domestic and international exhibitions. In 1937, his works were featured at the Paris World's Fair, and then at the 1939 New York World's Fair. He won a silver medal at the former. In perfect condition. Not broken, not restored. This ceramic sculpture is truly a rare piece, a real curiosity, with only a few examples in existence.
