A beautiful wooden cha’dansu 茶箪笥 (tea cabinet) in two sections, offering generous storage and a refined variety of details. Fully restored, cleaned, and waxed. Crafted from precious keyaki 欅 (Zelkova, Japanese oak) wood, finished in a warm dark brown tone. The upper section is configured with two pairs of sliding doors, and another large pair underneath set with glass. Behind these doors is a well-balanced interior featuring an elegant S-shaped display shelf above a single drawer. On the right side is another pair of sliding doors, partially inlaid with plaited bamboo, with underneath an additional open display compartment. The lower section comprises a pair of sliding doors and five drawers of varying sizes. The drawers are fitted with mokkô-shaped bail handles, while the sliding doors are finished with delicate flower-shaped thumb grips.
