He moved to Dar es Salaam in 1972, where his style evolved through the Tingatinga school and exposure to other modern artists. His works, characterized by brightly colored figures, are distinguished by social commentary and humor, and have been exhibited worldwide. His style is characterized by constantly moving figures, bright colors, and a strong sense of social commentary and caricature. Many critics have noted the influence and similarities between his work and the graffiti of Keith Haring.
